It's 2 o'clock,
come on let's go, it's the second walk of the day
out the
door, cross the road, we'll have some fun on the way.
Tell me
mum, did you see that?, did you see what I saw there?
a spider
running up the wall, cats mewing their call
women hurrying
home with their wares.
Did you
hear the rustling in the trees
the blackbird
singing, it's plain to see
the little
mouse scurrying home to hide
boy, this
is exciting this mother earth.
Down by
the river that's so inviting
the fish
are jumping, my hearts a pumping
is it a
weasel, is it a stoat
streaking
up the bank, behind the water tank.
Over the
fields and far away
oh look,
there's a rabbit shall I give chase
better
not, what have we here
it's a
little hoggy curled up in fear.
Oh mum come
see, will you look at that
that cat
on the walls ever so fat
look at
the mare out in her field
she sure
looks lazy, I couldn't do that.
We're heading
home now, best make haste
but I'm
a little bit tired, I'll slacken my pace
there's
the red fox, she's actually my friend
can't stop
now, I've needs to attend.
Mum throws
her a biscuit, she decides to risk it
as we set
off heading for home
cross the
bridge, over the road
and have
a quick sniff at the hedge.
I'm met
at the gate, fat cat awaits
rubs and
purrs all round
come on
let's go, I just can't wait
I want
my treats as I hate live bait.
I'm home,
I'm tired, I have to lie down
as my body's
taken over by sleep
doggie
dreams arrive, it's so good to be alive
but hang
on, wait a minute
did you
see that ???
