Do not mourn me for too long, only for a while
for all I ever wanted to do was only make you smile.
We all knew from the start that one day we would part,
but I will live forever on, embraced within your hearts.

Now I look out to sea like the warrior that I am,
I stand here smiling, watching over my land.
As the fresh air blows through my hair,
now I can rest without a care.

No more concrete, stale city smells
pollute my sensitive nose,
the rustling trees, the cool seas breeze
helps me rest an eternal peace.

Now I'm embraced by warm mother earth
so close that I can see,
when all is quiet, your all alone
try, you may see me!

I have lived and died before my time
we all knew life wasn't fair,
in the last few years I found something special
true love with those who cared.
